CURRENT PROJECT -Population dynamics on immune cell development-

T cell, one of immune cells, gets matured step by step from immature cells in thymus. In this maturation process, only T cells which recognize antigens such as bacterium and don’t recognize cell from self by mistake, can proliferate and get matured through an interaction with thymic epithelial cells(TECs) and thus T cells which only attack enemy are selected. We are developing a mathematical model of the T cell development.
